Working Groups

The Working Groups  are responsible for specific tasks such as but not limited to:

  • Developing of the Strategic Research Agenda
  • Interaction and coordination with other Platforms relevant to the eMobility Platform
  • Interaction with other research activities relevant to the eMobility Platform
  • Implementation issues of the eMobility Platform
  • Research roadmap
  • Legal framework for the EU model contract and advice for Consortium Agreements.

Members of the Working Groups are taken from the member organisations of the General Assembly. The eMobility Technology Platform has these Working Groups:

Leading-edge Applications
The objectives for this working group is to establish further links between M&M Comms. and other areas, to find new applications for M&M Comms., to get disruptive ideas fro R&D in M&W Comms., to gather further contributions to the SRA, and to establish an SAA.  More info...

Broadband for Europe
The objectives of this working group is to collect information on technical capabilities of mobile, wireless, wireline, and optical technologies to support broadband deployment in Europe, to collect examples from Member States and Regions on the usage of Structural Funds in the context of ICT, and to identify examples for best practice for the use of Structural Funds for ICT in order to provide information to Member States and Regions.  More info....

Post-IP Roadmap and milestones
The emphasis of this WP is on identifications of experimentally based research topics in Post-IP and suitable experimental test-bed requirements. The identified research areas and approach are used to derive a reference model and general recommendation for development of test-beds that aim at supporting evolutionary or revolutionary "Post-IP" research approaches towards the future Internet.
